I am currently in the process of completing my Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa in the Intermediate/Senior division. My teachables are History and French as a Second Language. I also have an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in History and an advanced minor in French as a Second Language from the University of Ottawa.
I am originally from Renfrew, Ontario, and although I spent most of the last five or so years living in Ottawa, I recently got married, bought a house, and moved back to Renfrew (so yes, I have an awful daily commute!).

I am not super "with it" when it comes to technology. I do own a cell phone and an iPod, but I do not do much else on them other than talking and listening to music. Likewise, I only have a Facebook account because it is necessary to have one if I wish to keep communicating with my friends. That said, I realize the important role technology plays and will continue to play in education, hence I am determined to become more comfortable and familiar with it. My hope for this course, PED 3119 B "Integrating Technology Across the Curriculum," is that I leave technologically savvy and ready to apply everything I have learned in my future classroom.
